I was the Godfather and rather disappointed. (Because that’s how I am, ya know.) Apocalypse Redux was on last night. I watched it long ago and have attempted to watch it in its entirety in the last few years *since* I’ve read Conrad but have not. My best friend and sister-in-law were both Mr. Smith Goes To Washington. I’m glad to run into someone else who wasn’t an Easy Rider!
Michelle, I haven’t really seen Apocalypse Now in its entirety either. Back in my undergraduate days I was a projectionist for one of our student film societies, and I was on duty at a screening of it — but the sound in the booth was erratic that evening, so after a while I gave up watching.
(I was kind of hoping for something Hitchcockian or film-noirish. Too bad the quiz doesn’t let you see all the possibilities.)
I took that test and got “Mr. Smith Goes to Washington.” Never seen it…but I thought I would have gotten a more exciting result. :-/
I was rather unpleasantly surprised to be Schindler’s List. I’d much rather be Mr Smith Goes to Washington!
